DESCRIPTION:

Zii3 Strategy was a small, independent start-up business consultancy business based in Los Angeles, California, which provided product development and business analysis services to sports related companies in the US and around the world.

ResiVu was a partnership venture to provide a platform for promoting financial services for real estate via interactive kiosk in banks thoughout California.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to develop a range of brand names to market the service and determine if the concept warranted further development.

After local competitor research and analysis, Zetagram developed a wide range of brand name suggestions with available dotCom domains, and after in-house discussions the client chose the name ResiVu, a simple contraction of Residential View.

The interactive kiosk concept was to provide a platform in-store (banks and credit unions) to search for properties for sale, combined with possible mortgage packages and lines of credit.

On this basis the logo motif design was based around that of a compass which would be used to locate houses. The motif was made up of house icons and combined with custom-adapted font styles to provide a unique and slightly understated look.

The purpose of the understated look was to enable the design to work in a secondary role in conjunction with the bank's own brand, and not to overpower it. The corporate identity also needed to be neutral enough that the further marketing material could be modified with the bank brand headers without clashing.

In addition to the initial logo design, Zetagram also designed and presented preliminary kiosk interface designs to demonstrate how the process would work, within the parameters of the touchscreen display specified.
