Halligan Print was a small, independent start-up print and design service based in Castlebar, County Mayo, which provided business card and stationery to businesses across Mayo and Sligo.
After detailed client consulation, the initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to design a logo corporate identity for Business Card Displays, a small, start-up business card distribution and advertising business based in Castlebar, County Mayo.
The design was composed of a motif using the initials of the business, which also represented the method that the business cards were delivered from the display. The typography was clean and professional in order to inspire confidence in the product.
Using this name and style, the business evolved and designs were developed by Zetagram for brochure price lists, offer flyers, business cards, vehicle graphics, roadside signage and web pages.
After a change in management, the business was relaunched as Halligan Print, which changed the emphasis from the business card display system and focussed more directly on the sale of print and design services.
To retain a degree of continuity, Zetagram redesigned the original logo to suit the new name and adapted the motif to represent the rollers of a printing process rather than the business card delivery.
New stationery and vehicle graphics were designed with a brighter and fresher look, with updated pricelist and web page designs offering more services and products.
