Halligan Print was a small, independent start-up print and design service based in Castlebar, County Mayo, which provided business card and stationery to businesses across Mayo and Sligo.
USP Training & Development was a small, independent start-up training company based in Ballina, County Mayo, which provided dual language training services in the Co. Mayo area.
The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to create a unique and attractive corporate identity and stationery set as a launch package for a local start-up company.
After research and analysis of local competitors, Zetagram chose to approach the design from a much lighter and open style compared to the sober more business-like approaches of similar training companies.
The concept of the design was about nurturing and growth, from the egg-shape enclosure of the motif design, to the final release of the bird when fully trained and developed.
One of the main characteristics of the company was that it operated in both english and irish languages, and so required a system of representing both languages within the same documents.
As a solution to this, Zetagram design the business cards and stationery with the main information and logo in irish language and a mirrored reflection of the information in english, so they tied together in a logical manner.
