AgriSafe was a small, independent start-up, farm safety signage business based in Kilkelly, County Mayo.
AgriSafe provided cost-effective safety signage directly to farms located in the west of Ireland area; including Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon and Galway.
The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to develop a brand name and corporate identity to establish the business, and to inspire customer confidence when a representative visited their farm.
With no budget for in-depth brand name development and research, Zetagram kept the process simple by suggesting the business name AgriSafe as it was unique and had an available dot-IE domain.
To cost-effectively create a logo motif arrangement, Zetagram disassembled the graphics from a selection of farm safety signs and recomposed them in a scene representing various aspects of farming life.
This layout was complemented by a solid, slab serif font and designed to be economically produced in standard cut-vinyl colours for signage and fleet graphics.
For the business card and and the product catalogue, the vector graphics were combined with retouched stock photography to give the corporate identity a more relatable tone.
The catalogue content and sizing system were developed by Zetagram to aid in the simple ordering of signs, to be informative and to act as a 'silent salesman' when presented directly to the farmer.
